Keelan's Journey
Keelan Harvick is a third-generation racer following the path forged by his father, multi-time NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick, and his maternal grandfather, John Paul Linville. The elder Harvick began racing go-karts in his hometown of Bakersfield, California, in 1982. Thirty-eight years later in Mooresville, North Carolina, a seven-year-old Keelan made his racing debut on May 20, 2020, in a go-kart. He qualified on the pole and finished eighth.
Fueled by passion and legacy, the younger Harvick has shown relentless drive behind the wheel, emulating the same tenacity his father displayed for nearly 30 years in NASCAR. As a homage to his late grandfather, Keelan proudly carries the No. 62 — the same number his grandfather raced with for much of his career — which has become a proud symbol of his motorsports heritage.
